Congressman Bill Flores Endorses Roger Williams
Conservative Congressman once represented part of the new CD 25; Urges conservatives to support Roger.
AUSTIN, TEXAS—Congressman Bill Flores joined a growing list of conservative heroes who have endorsed Roger Williams for Congress. Congressman Flores previously represented parts of the new CD-25 and urged his former constituents to get behind conservative candidate Roger Williams.
"I am proud to endorse Roger Williams because we need more folks who have 'Main Street' business experience to serve in Washington," said Congressman Bill Flores (TX-17). "Roger has always been there to support conservative candidates and he helped me in our 2010 race to defeat Chet Edwards. The people I currently represent who transition to the 25th Congressional District in 2013 will be well served to have Roger Williams as their limited government, strong conservative voice in Congress."
"What an honor to have Congressman Bill Flores endorse our campaign," Roger said in accepting the endorsement. "He retired liberal Chet Edwards in 2010. And he and I will work hand in hand in Congress to retire Obamacare."
About Roger: Roger Williams was sworn in as Texas' 105th Secretary of State on February 8, 2005. He worked to bring jobs to Texas and he served as the state's Chief Liaison for Texas Border and Mexican Affairs and as the Chair of the state's 2005 Base Realignment and Closure Response Strike Force. For 38 years, he has also owned and operated a small business. He resides in Austin, Texas.
