Congressman Mike Conaway Endorses Roger Williams
Congressman once represented several CD 25 counties in Congress; Calls Roger a "Conservative and a Leader"
AUSTIN, TEXAS—Congressman Mike Conaway (CD 11) today endorsed conservative businessman Roger Williams for Congress calling him the right choice for conservatives.
"I'm proud and honored to have represented several of the counties that are now encompassed in Texas' newly formed Twenty Fifth Congressional District.” Conaway said. "In the future, I know that these constituents will be well-served by Roger Williams. He is a conservative and a leader who will fight to overturn Obama's big government policies every day in office. I am proud to endorse Roger Williams for CD 25."
"What an honor to have Congressman Mike Conaway endorse our campaign," Roger said in accepting the endorsement. "This shows that we continue to gain strength and momentum. I'm excited he is joining the growing army of supporters we have put together representing conservative people from all over the district."
About Roger: Roger Williams was sworn in as Texas' 105th Secretary of State on February 8, 2005. He worked to bring jobs to Texas and he served as the state's Chief Liaison for Texas Border and Mexican Affairs and as the Chair of the state’s 2005 Base Realignment and Closure Response Strike Force. For 38 years, he has also owned and operated a small business. He resides in Austin, Texas.
